NGM Programs
K-12 Education
New Generation Myanmar's K-12 Education program is the cornerstone of our insitution. With over 1,000 active students, NGM is expanding access to quality learning across the entire country of Myanmar. Our online platform gives students the ability to learn from anywhere. It also gives us the ability to provide education at a large scale.
Curriculum
We designed NGM's curriculum to build 21st century skills starting at the youngest grade levels. Beyond teaching the core disciplines like STEM, Myanmar, English, and Arts, we also place a strong emphasis on how we teach. Students learn through Project-Based Learning, Academic Competitions, and engaging in discussions with their teachers and peers. We ensure that the NGM environment is a safe space where students have the opportunity to fully express their thoughts and opinions.

Digital Literacy training is also built into our standard curriculum. Students learn the basics in their ICT classes and get exposure to more specialized topics in the two weekly training sessions we hold with the IT department. Our mission is to open more opportunities for our students. One of the best way to do this is to teach them how to access new resources, networks, and tools through their devices.

These are the skills that will allow our students to determine their own futures. They learn how to identify problems, find creative solutions, and collaborate with others to implement. All of this is built off of their ability to grow independently. NGM graduates will continue to develop and create long past their last day at NGM. Our hope is that they go on to inspire others in their communities and lead positive, lasting change.
Teachers
NGM teachers are passionate, caring, and safe. Every teacher at NGM is certified and holds a degree (Bachelors' or PhD.) in a field relevant for their classroom. As a school that operates in an active civil warzone, our students' and teachers' safety is our top priority. As such, New Generation Myanmar hires exclusively teachers from the Civil Disobedience Movement in Myanmar. This ensures that our teachers align with the democratic and humanitarian values of our institution.
Students
We accept Myanmar students from all backgrounds and circumstances. Many of our students lack access to consistent electricity or internet. Others are financially constrained. This should not limit their ability to learn. By providing resources like Solar Power Banks, Starlinks, and Scholarships, students from around the whole country can continue their education in spite of their situation.
GED Programs
GED programs offer Myanmar students the opportunity to degrees internationally. Some students graduated from schools that are not internationally recognized, and others were forced to discontinue their education before completion. Obtaining a GED allows these students to overcome these barriers and apply for higher education around the world. New Generation Myanmar offers GED classes to prepare students for their final examination.
Language Programs
New Generation Myanmar also offers extracurricular English, Japanese, and Korean courses. These are languages that will allow students to make valuable connections once they graduate. Further, this supports many students who want to pursue international degrees.
